Biography
Nanda Soobben is a South African cartoonist and illustrator. An active cartoonist for over 25 years, Soobben’s work has been featured in The Post Newspaper, The Independent, The Daily News, and the Sunday Tribune. He graduated with a Diploma in Graphic Design from ML Sultan Technical College and studied animation at the Parsons School of Design in New York. In 1994 Soobben founded The Centre for Fine Art Animation and Design (CFAD) to train disadvantaged South African artists in art, design, and animation. He currently serves as the creative director of Coffee Machine Animation Studios.
