Biography
Born in Johannesburg in 1947, David Shapiro is both a stock broker and a cartoonist. He honed his cartooning style while doodling in lectures and later, while passing time on the telephone for his day job. His meticulous caricatures have appeared in a number of publications, including Wits-Wits and Frontline. An exhibition of his cartoons was held at Goodman Gallery in March of 1983.
