Biography
Herbert MacKinney (1851-1953) was a British-born cartoonist whose work appeared in the Rand Daily Mail, The Star, and the Cape Times. MacKinney studied architecture prior to moving to South Africa to work for the government in the Orange Free State and Transvaal.
