Biography
Abe Berry was born in Mpumalanga Province in 1911. He is mostly self trained and had a long and productive career. He is known mostly for what he did with the Johannesburg daily “The Star”. Eventually his work become known internationally and in the latter part of the 1950s, he was voted one of the best cartoonists in the world.
