Learn more about Souleymane Ndiaye

During his early childhood, Souleymane Ndiaye covered his sketch books and school notebooks with art that left little doubt about his destiny. Bathed in a world of sounds and colors, he began very early to paint which allowed him to share his universe where reality and fantasy intertwine.

Souleymane devoted himself entirely to painting and began to become known in the cultural milieu of Dakar. This emerging recognition gave him the opportunity to meet people like Aimé Jacquet and Maitre Abdoulaye Wade for whom he produced portraits: one for Jacquet bringing France its first World Cup and the second for Wade’s journey that brought him to his election as President of Senegal. In 2000, Souleymane Ndiaye settled in France and traveled Europe to exhibit his works.
