Ndarama Assoumani, better known as Editorial Cartoonist Ndarama, is a cartoonist and entrepreneur. Rwandan by nationality, Nadarama was born in Bujumbura, Burundi on August 12, 1985. He did his primary studies at Ngagara and moved to Rwanda with his family in the end of 1994. He continued his studies at Kimihurura and Kicukiro College School of Arts.
Ndarama Assoumani is the son of Ndarama Abdallah (former university teacher) and Garukurore Jeanne (former entrepreneur). He is the second in the family of five children. Ndarama was married in 2009 with Uwamwezi Immaculate and they have three children (two daughters and one son).
As a cartoonist, Ndarama started his career in 2007, and worked for different big companies in Rwanda, such as Ingabo Magazine, The Service Mag, Igihe.com, and is currently working for Imvaho Nshya. Ndarama is also the co-founder of Hills Wise Limited, a website selling electronic books, arts, crafts, photos and greeting cards.
