Biography
EB “Mike” Asukwo was born in Idua Assang in Oron of Akwa Ibom State. Asukwo attended St. Vincent’s College. He studied business administration at the Calabar Polytechnic Cross River State before attending Yaba College of Technology in Lagos to pursue a fine arts degree. Asukwo graduated from Yaba College in 1996 with a major in sculpture. He worked for BusinessDay from 2001-2003 as a cartoonist. After working for the tourism program at Cross River, Auskwo returned to BusinessDay in 2009.
