Biography
Frank Odoi was a famous cartoonist across Africa and Europe. Sadly, Odoi was killed in a road accident in Nairobi in 2012. He is remembered for his political cartoons and comic strip, Akokhan Lives. Although originally from Ghana, Odoi was based out of Kenya working as a cartoonist for the Daily Nation as well as other publications, including Joe Magazine, Kenya Times, The Standard, the Star, and the BBC World Service. Odoi was the recipient of many awards, including cartoonist of the year from the Kenya Union of Journalists.
