Biography
Born in 1964 at Dabou, in Ivory Coast, Maxime Gnoan Kacou graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Abidjan in 1989. He was art professor from 1991 to 1999. Professional reporter, caricaturist and cartoonist, he is a founding member of the Popular Ivorian satirical magazine “Gbich” for which he is assistant editor in chief. He is also General Secretary of the Association of Ivorian cartoonists, “Tache d’Encre”, where he actively drives the organization of BD festival “Cocobulles” in Abidjan.
