Biography
Titi Faustin (b.1971) is a comic artist from Côte d’Ivoire. Faustin studied painting at Abengourou Art Centre, before working for various Ivorian publications including Liberté, Ter, Ivoire-Pied, Kabako, and La Gazette creating advertising materials and comics. Faustin’s comics have won several awards in both Côte d’Ivoire and internationally including the Calao Prize (1990), “Best Comic Strip” at the Festival Cocobulles (1999), and the first place in the Africa e Mediterraneo Award’s “Human Rights” division (2003-2004).
